Falcao Starts For Mata: Man United v Leicester Live

LEICESTER (SportingAlert) — Radamel Falcao hands been handed his first start for Manchester United for today’s English Premier League clash at Leicester City.

Falcao comes into the starting team for Juan Mata, with manager Louis van Gaal making just the one chance to the Manchester United team which beat QPR 4-0 the last time out.

Falcao will join Robin van Persie in the attack, while Wayne Rooney plays in support behind them. Daley Blind, Ander Herrera and Angel di Maria all start as well.

Left-back Luke Shaw, who is back from a hamstring injury, remains on the bench, alongside Adnan Januzaj and Chris Smalling.

Meanwhile, experienced midfielder Esteban Cambiasso makes his full debut for Leicester City after the former Inter Milan impressed the manager when coming on as a substitute against Stoke City last week.

Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy also starts with Leicester making four changes to the side that started the last game.
