Half-time Champions League scores – Oct. 22

(Sporting Alert) — Chelsea, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Celtic all lead at half-time in Champions League on Tuesday night.

Fernando Torres handed a start by Jose Mourinho in his 100th start for Chelsea, but the Blues ahead in the fifth minute when he headed home past the goalkeeper from close range against Schalke.

Atletico Madrid leads Austria Wien 2-0 with Raul Garcia and the on form Diego Costa netting the goals for the Spanish La Liga side which seeks its third successive victory in the Champions League.

In that same group, ten-man Porto and Zenit are currently locked at 0-0, with Hector Herrera being sent off in just the sixth minute.

In Group F, leaders Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are 1-1.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave the German side the lead in the 16th minute, but forward Olivier Giroud found an equaliser in the 41st minute, firing home from close range after the goalkeeper failed to handle a cross.

Marseille trail Napoli 1-0 at half-time with Jose Callejon netting the only goal so far.

Elsewhere, James Forrest scored a penalty just before the half-time break and Celtic leads Ajax 1-0.

Barcelona and AC Milan are 1-1.

Robinho put the home side ahead when he finished off a cross from Kaka after nine-minutes, but Lionel Messi found Barcelona’s equaliser in the 23rd minute.
