SPORTING ALERT – Starting lineup and team news for today’s CONCACAF World Cup semi-final round qualifying clash between Honduras and Mexico.
Javier Hernandez will once again lead the attack for Mexico, with Raul Jiménez, Andres Guardado, Hector Herrera and Javier Aquino also starting.
However, Moisés Muñoz is back on the bench after starting against El Salvador, with Alfredo Talavera starting in goal.
José Vázquez, Carlos Vela and Oribe Peralta are all on the bench.

El Tri easily put away El Salvador at home last Friday, with Guardado, Herrera and Vela all getting on the scoresheet in the 3-0 win as new head coach Juan Carlos Osorio celebrated in the first way on his debut.
Mexico is on a very positive run at the moment, winning three games in a row and playing with a lot of confidence at the moment.
He failed to score against El Salvador and missed a few chances that were presented to him, but Hernandez is expected to he a major threat for Honduras on the road for the CONCACAF giants.
Honduras, which fell 1-0 to Canada their CONCACAF World Cup fourth round qualifier last Friday, has not won in their last four games, while struggling to find a positive rhythm in front of the goal.
