How many NBA games on the schedule tonight?

There are six NBA games on the schedule on Monday, January 9th. We’ve got several exciting games on tap for tonight, and we’ll be giving you a preview of some of the top matchups and leading players!

LeBron vs Jokic: Lakers vs Nuggets tonight?

In the featured game tonight, the inform Los Angeles Lakers (19-21) will head to Denver to take on the Nuggets (26-13) at 9 p.m. The Lakers have been on a roll lately, winning their last five games, but they’ll have their work cut out for them against the Nuggets, who are currently the top team in the Western Conference. 

The Lakers lead the season series 2-1, and have won their last two head-to-head meetings. Denver comes in with a two-game winning streak and if favored by13.0 points with the O/U : 237 points.

This should be a great matchup between two talented teams, with LeBron James leading the way for the Lakers (29.17 PPG, 8.2 REB, 8.7 AST) and triple-double star Nikola Jokic anchoring the Nuggets’ attack (25.3 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 9.5 APG).

At 8 p.m. at the FedEx Forum, the San Antonio Spurs will travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies have won six straight games and are second in the West with a 7-3 record over their last 10 games. Memphis is led by point guard Ja Morant’s 27.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game.

In another notable matchup, the Chicago Bulls will visit the Boston Celtics (28-12) at 7:30 p.m. The Celtics have the best record in the NBA this season and will be looking to continue their dominance at home and improve their 15-5 record at TD Garden.

The Bulls will be led by Demar DeRozan (26.4 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 4.9 APG), while the Celtics will be anchored by Jayson Tatum (30.8 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 4.1 APG). This should be a high-scoring affair with plenty of excitement. The over/under is set at 235.5 points.

Finally, the Milwaukee Bucks will take on the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. The Bucks are led by the dynamic Giannis Antetokounmpo (32.0 PPG, 11.8 RPG, 5.2 APG), while the Knicks will look to Julius Randle (24.4 PPG, 10.0 RPG) to lead their attack.

Other games on Monday include the New Orleans Pelicans vs. the Washington Wizards, and the Orlando Magic vs. the Sacramento Kings.
