MILAN — Inter Milan and Crotone are locked at 2-2 in their Italian Serie A match after a well entertaining opening 45 minutes of action.

Crotone went ahead after 12 minutes when Niccolò Zanellato headed home past Samir Handanovic before strike partners Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez combined to level things for Inter Milan in the 20th minute of play.
Inter Milan then took the lead through an own goal by Luca Marrone, which came from another wonderful attacking build-up from the home side in the 31st minute.
The first half goals were capped from the penalty after Arturo Vidal conceded the spot-kick following a foul in the 18-yard area that went to VAR.
Vladimir Golemic stepped up and converted with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner of the goal, giving goalkeeper Alex Cordaz no chance.
Inter Milan are currently second in the Italian Serie A Standings with Crotone sitting one point from the bottom.
