Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, facing Real Madrid for the first time since leaving in June, hands a first start of pre-season to Frank Lampard, who will feature in midfield alongside Ramires and Marco van Ginkel.

Captain John Terry plays in the heart of the center back alongside Gary Cahill, with Branislav Ivanovic and Ashley Cole given the nod in full-back positions.

Romelu Lukaku starts up front, flanked by Oscar and Eden Hazard.

Chelsea are without Barcelona linked David Luiz, who misses the game because of an injury.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti, named a very strong Real Madrid starting XI to face his former club as well, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema leading the attack.

Sergio Ramos, Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric all start as well.
