MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brilliant free-kick to give Real Madrid a 2-1 lead at half-time in the Guinness International Champions Cup final against Chelsea at Sun Life Stadium here in Miami.

Real Madrid took the lead in the 13th minute when full-back Marcelo broke into the box to pick up a Luka Modric through pass before firing past Petr Cech in the Chelsea goal.
However, the English Premier League side responded three-minute later when midfielder Ramires neatly chipped Iker Casillas for the equalizer.
Ronaldo then gave the Spanish La Liga side the lead once again with a brilliant free-kick that moved and gave Cech no chance in the 31st minute.
Both managers, Jose Mourinho of Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid named strong starting line-ups for tonight’s final.
