MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson and Brandon Marshall, are all listed as active for their respective teams in Sunday’s early NFL kick-offs.
Wide receiver Johnson will suit up for the Detroit Lions, who will take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium at 1:00 PM ET live on FOX.
Johnson was listed as doubtful with an ankle problem, but is now active and is expected to be a starter. Also active for the Lions is running back Joique Bell, who has a knee problem. He should split snaps with Reggie Bush.
For the Jets, meanwhile, running back Chris Johnson is active, following an ankle problem and he will share touches with Chris Ivory.
Another Wide receiver Marshall of the Chicago Bears is active for his team’s 1:00 PM clash at Soldier Field against the visiting Green Bay Packers. Marshall has also recovered from an ankle injury and will play in today’s game.
Texans running back Forster will be active as well when Houston play host to the Buffalo Bills at NRG Stadium.
