KINGSTON, Jamaica (Sporting Alert) — Day two of the Jamaica High School Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field Championships continues on Wednesday with a full schedule of events.
Once again, supporters home and away, who are unable to attend “Champs 2015” can follow live coverage of the five-day championships, which concludes on Saturday, can get all the coverage here. The opening day of competition started on Tuesday afternoon, with heats over the hurdles and 400m dashes, as well as a few field events, but fans will be traveling to the National Stadium earlier on the second day.
Action will also pick up on day two later on in the evening as there are points up for grab with several finals on the busy schedule.
The Steeplechase Open, the Class One and Class Two boys’ Long Jump, the Girls Class One Discus Throw and the Class Two Shot Put are among the finals set to be decided on Tuesday.
There will also be several preliminaries to be contested, with the opening rounds of the 200m, 800m and the 400m hurdles highlighting the early track events.
Qualifying rounds in the 4x100m sprint relays will also be contested on Tuesday, along with the start of the boys’ Decathlon.
