Alvaro Negredo leads the attack with top marksman Sergio Aguero out because of an injury.
Liverpool, in the meantime, make one change from the last outing with the injured Jon Flanagan replaced by French full-back Aly Cissokho.
The core of the team remains the same, with Jordan Henderson, Joe Allen and Lucas all starting in midfield.
