(Sporting Alert) — Fit-again striker Daniel Sturridge has been named on the bench against for Liverpool for Sunday’s Premier League clash at Stoke City.
Sturridge makes a return from an ankle injury, but will not start today, despite manager Brendan Rodgers making two changes to the Liverpool team which played last in the EPL against Hull City on New Year’s Day.
Kolo Toure starts in central defence in place of the injured Daniel Agger, while captain Steven Gerrard returns to the starting team, replacing Iago Aspas as he gets ready for his 650th appearance for the Reds.
