MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Striker Sergio Aguero returns to training this week, but will not be ready for Manchester City to face West Ham United in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg at the Etihad Stadium Wednesday.

Aguero is back in training, following a calf, but hasn’t recovered enough to feature.
Fellow Steven Jovetic (hamstring), winger Jesus Navas (knee) and central midfielder Jack Rodwell (hamstring) will also miss the game.
For West Ham, manager Sam Allardyce confirmed that new loan recruit Roger Johnson will go straight in to his XI on Wednesday as the Hammers continue to battle with injuries.
Defenders Winston Reid (ankle), James Collins and James Tomkins (both groin) are all still missing, while midfielder and captain Kevin Nolan is suspended.
Manchester City will start the game as favourites, but West Ham, which beat Tottenham to get to this stage, is hoping to pull off an upset.
Sunderland beat Manchester United 2-1 in their first leg clash on Tuesday night.
