MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Bayern Munich, as expected, are back at full strength, as they make eight changes from the team which drew 3-3 with Hoffenheim in the league for tonight’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, as well as captain Philipp Lahm, David Alab, Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller are all amongst the changes for the game tonight as the defending champions seek to take something from the first leg tie.
Meanwhile, for Manchester United, Ryan Giggs, who was one of the star players for the Reds in the win against Olympiakos in the last round starts.
David Moyes makes five changes from the team which beat Aston Villa 4-1, with Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidić leading the backline.
However, there was no place for Shinji Kagawa, who was very impressive in his last outing.
