Manchester United v Manchester City: Livescore, TV Channels
MANCHESTER, Sporting Alert – Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has a full squad to select from for the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Live coverage of the game will be at 7:30 AM ET and is on NBCSN, NBC Sports Live, Sky Sports 1HD UK, MUTV Online and live radio streaming on TalkSport Radio World. Live score available at www.livescore.com.
Mourinho declared that midfield playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan and full-backs Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are all available for the Premier League battle, after slight concerns.
Shaw and Mkhitaryan both picked up injury scares during the international break with England and Armenia respectively, while Valencia only recently returned from international duty with Ecuador.
Mkhitaryan, who was a doubt with a knee problem and Shaw, who withdrew from the England squad because of a minor calf concern, have both been assessed and given the green light to play on Saturday.
“Everybody is available,” Mourinho said on Manchester United official website at www.manutd.com. “It’s not the same as if we were here all week and working, resting and not travelling, but there are no injuries and everybody has returned safely and on time for at least one training session.
“Everybody is ready and wants to play of course.”
Mourinho added: “Antonio was able to get one flight direct to Madrid and then to London and Manchester.”
He also spoke about a few other players.
The Portuguese said: “An easy one. Sergio [Romero] and Marcos [Rojo] went around the globe!
“They played in Venezuela and then went to Argentina and then, from there, they came back to Europe but they came back in time for training this morning.”
Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini is also available for the clash, having overcome back pains and played over 80-minutes for Belgium on Tuesday.
Marcus Rashford, who netted the winner against Hull City in the last Premier League match before the international break, is in contention for a start with Manchester United after the England forward scored a hat-trick for the national Under-21s in midweek.
For Manchester City, manager Pep Guardiola will be without leading striker Sergio Aguero, who begins his three-match suspension.
New goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is expected to make his English Premier League debut for Manchester City, while German internationals Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan are both fit and could make the bench.
Full-back Bacary Sagna is also available after he recovered from a hamstring injury.
Live coverage of the game will be on NBCSN, NBC Sports Live, Sky Sports 1HD UK, MUTV Online and live radio streaming on TalkSport Radio World. Live score available at www.livescore.com.
