Mexico are coming off a 0-0 draw with Panama last week Friday on the road and target a positive result at home as they seek to move closer to winning a place to Brazil next year.

Costa Rica beat Honduras 1-0 in their last game and have seven points, the same as Mexico heading into tonight’s contest.

Both teams are confident of pulling off a win tonight, with Javier Hernandez being backed as the man to be the difference for the Mexicans.

Arsenal forward Joel Campbell is amongst the starters for Costa Rica.
