NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round Pairings

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the pairings for the 2014 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round.

The national office released the list of match-ups and their respective venues for the first round games that will take place on Saturday, November 22. The winners of the 15 matches will join hosts Northwood (Fla.) at the national championship final site in Delray Beach, Fla.

Some of the matches on Nov. 22 are No. 1 seed Rio Grande (Ohio) (15-1-2) taking on Baker (Kan.) (9-8-3), Corban (Ore.) (12-7-1) is traveling to face the No. 2 seeded Ashford (Iowa) (10-1-6), while No. 3 Grand View (Iowa) (16-2-1) will play host to McPherson (Kan.) (14-3-2).

Elsewhere, No. 4 seed Indiana Wesleyan (18-1-0) entertains Vanguard (Calif.) (13-6-1), while Rocky Mountain (Mont.) (11-9-0) face a challenging tie when they take on No. 9 Texas at Brownsville (20-0-0), who is not only undefeated, but is the only 100 percent team heading into the tournament.

In other games No. 14 Oklahoma Wesleyan (14-4-2) will take on Science & Arts (Okla.) (17-3-0) and Bellevue (Neb.) (14-2-2) is at No. 13 Hastings (Neb.) (17-2-2).

The 56th annual national championship final site will occur Dec. 1 – 6 at the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, Fla.
