(Sporting Alert) — Gonzalo Higuain is still not fully fit, but starts for Napoli in the attack in today Italian Serie A clash against Torino at the Stadio San Paolo.

The Argentine forward has been bothered by a muscular injury, but is fit enough for manager Rafa Benitez to name him in the starting line as Napoli looks to rebound from the defeat to Roma the last time out.

“In Rome we played well and I knew that if we played as we did against Roma, we would win in Marseille (in the Champions League in midweek),” Benitez said.

“I chose the formation well but then again it is easy when you have the players that I have.

“They are all training well and you could see great concentration from the whole squad. I congratulate them.”

Also starting today in support of Higuain are Marek Hamsik, Dries Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne.

However, Benitez will be without the suspended Paolo Cannavaro and the injured JuanCamilo Zuniga and Miguel Angel Britos.
