UPDATES: NBA Preseason Scores & Highlights – Dec. 12

MIAMI, FL — NBA preseason scores and free highlights from the list of games that were played on a busy Saturday night around the country. There were seven games played on the day.

STARS RETURN IN PRESEASON

Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Luka Doncic all returned to the court on Saturday for their respective teams.

Antetokounmpo played 25 minutes and grabbed 25 points with 10 rebounds in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 112-102 defeat to the Dallas Mavericks, but got a scare early in the contest.

Two-time reigning NBA MVP got popped in the eye when he collided with Dallas’ Dorian Finney-Smith just four minutes into the game but did manage to return after receiving treatment.

Luka Doncic and Maxi Kleber scored 13 points each for Dallas with Jalen Brunson adding 10 points. Kleber also grabbed seven rebounds and combined with Doncic and Josh Richardson for 9 of the Mavericks’ 17 3-pointers.

Khris Middleton tallied 18 points while Bobby Portis and D.J. Wilson each scored 14 for the Bucks. Portis completed his double-double with 13 rebounds for Milwaukee.

CURRY SHOOTS FROM THE STANDS!

Curry also returned to the court on Saturday as the Golden State Warriors picked up a 107-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

He scored 10 points on 3-for-10 shooting in his first game since March 10, but the highlights came before tipoff when the star guard took his pre-game tunnel warmup shots to the empty stands.

Kent Bazemore scored 13 points from the bench and fellow reserve Damion Lee added 12 for the Warriors, who emptied their entire bench in the opener exhibition.

Nikola Jokic grabbed a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds in the win for Denver. Gary Harris added 11 points and Monte Morris 10 for the Nuggets.

In the preseason game in San Antonio, Theo Maledon had 20 points and five rebounds off the bench and Mike Muscala ended with 18 points on perfect 5-for-5 shooting, including 4-of-4 from 3-pointers and the Oklahoma City Thunder held off the Spurs 121-108.

Hamidou Diallo, Frank Jackson, and Aleksej Pokusevski scored 14 each with Diallo also pulling down 10 rebounds.

Patty Mills scored 24 for San Antonio with Rudy Gay added 15 and LaMarcus Aldridge ended with 14 points and six rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan had 12 points and seven rebounds and Devin Vassell finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals for Spurs.

In other NBA preseason scores on Saturday, Toronto Raptors earned a 111-100 victory over Charlotte Hornets, the Cleveland Cavaliers edged the Indiana Pacers 107-104, while Memphis narrowly beat Minnesota 107-105 and Utah, 119 tops Phoenix, 105.
