NCAA Division I Midwest Regional Cross Country Live Results

Ames, Iowa (Cyclones) -- Iowa State University is excited to host the 2013 NCAA Division I Midwest Regional. This marks the first time since 1997 that the Cyclones have hosted the Midwest Regional in Ames, Iowa.

Ames will be home to teams from 13 conferences including the Atlantic 10, Big 12, Big East, Big Sky, Big 10, Conference USA, Horizon League, Mid-American, Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley, Summit League, SEC and WAC, spanning across nine different states (Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota).

The top two teams and top four individuals not on an advancing team move on to the NCAA Championships, held in Terra Haute, Ind. Additional teams and individuals are chosen through an at-large selection process following the regional competition.

There will be a media holding area and work room located in the university's Knapp-Storms Dining Center. The center is located directly across Welch Avenue from the course. Electrical outlets and wireless internet will be made available for use and final race results will be distributed to media members there.

Following the races, it will be easiest for members of the media to conduct interviews outside of the finishing chute. Media will also be able to interview coaches and student-athletes following the awards presentations
