NCAA Top 25 Men’s Basketball Results — Feb. 7

TULSA, Okla. (Sporting Alert) — NCAA top 25 men’s basketball results and scores on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Jahlil Okafor grabbed a double-double and led four other Duke players into double-digit scoring as the Blue Devils trounced No. 10 Notre Dame 90-60 at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Okafor collected 20 points and 10 rebounds and shot 9-of-11 from the field for Duke, which shot 60.8-percent (31-51) from the floor as a team and 60.0 percent (9-15) from three-point range.

Justise Winslow grabbed 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks for the No. 4 Blue Devils (20-3, 7-3 ACC), who suffered a 77-73 defeat in the previous meeting between these two teams on Jan. 28.

Matt Jones scored 17 points off the bench and Tyus Jones added 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Duke, which won three in a row and six of the last seven games.

Steve Vasturia led Notre Dame with 15 points and Demetrius Jackson supported with 11 in the defeat for the Fighting Irish (21-4, 9-3 ACC).

WILDCATS KEEP WINNING

No. 1 Kentucky stayed undefeated on the season with a 68-61 victory over Florida in Gainesville.

The Wildcats (23-0, 10-0 SEC), who trailed 30-28 at halftime, picked things up in the second half to outscore the hosts 40-31 on their way to secure win number 23.

Aaron Harrison scored 23 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 19 points and eight rebounds and Willie Cauley-Stein finished with 13 points and five boards for Kentucky.

Devin Booker added 12 points off the bench for the Southeastern Conference leaders, who next face LSU on Tuesday.

The Gators were led by Dorian Finney-Smith, who scored 16 points, Kasey Hill, 12 and Eli Carter, 11.

In other NCAA men’s top 25 basketball results, No. 2 Gonzaga scored an 81-70 win over San Francisco, No. 3 Virginia held off the challenge of No. 9 Louisville to earn a 52-47 victory and No. 5 Wisconsin 65 topped Northwestern, 50.

However, there were defeats for two top ten teams, as Arizona State scored an 81-78 victory against No. 6 Arizona and No. 8 Kansas was stunned by Oklahoma State, 67-62.
