MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — The following is a list of NFL games on the schedule for Week 10 on Sunday, November 9. Week 10 started with the Cleveland Browns scoring a convincing 24-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
In early team news, the Detroit Lions (6-2) are reporting that wide receiver Calvin Johnson will play against the Miami Dolphins after he recovered from a troubled ankle injury.
The Lions will be delighted to have Johnson back after the team went 3-0 without him.
NFL action also move to Wembley Stadium in London again in this week’s fixture, as the Cowboys (6-3) tackle a struggling Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8).
Dallas, will start has the heavy favourites to end its current poor run after they lost the last two games to Washington and Arizona, respectively.
Quarterback Tony Romo is expected to play against Jacksonville on Sunday after he trained with the team, following a back problem.
The Jaguars are on a very disappointing run at the moment, but the Cowboys will not be taking them for granted as head coach Jason Garrett seeks to snap the losing streak.
According to reports from the team camp on Sunday, Garrett will play Romo and perhaps use a running game to protect his star QB from being targeted by the opponents.
“He looked pretty comfortable to me,” Garrett was quoted as saying.
“Clearly he’s coming back off of this thing and wanted to get the blood flowing through his body and get his movement back both in the pocket and also throwing the football.
“I feel like he had a pretty good day yesterday.”
Also in action on Sunday are Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (6-2), who are looking to rebound from last week’s 43-21 defeat to the New England Patriots.
They will take on the Oakland Raiders (0-8), the team with the worst record in the league this season.
This week’s Sunday Night Football game will see the Chicago Bears taking on the Green Bay Packers at 8:30 ET PM, with the game streaming live from the Lambeau Field on NBC.
