(Sporting Alert) — NFL Score and record from the game between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Thursday night.

Peyton Manning and the Broncos (11-3) suffered a first time defeat at home in the league this season, after going down 27-20 to San Diego (7-7) who improved to 4-4 on the road this season.

“We didn’t play well, didn’t stay on the field, didn’t have the ball much, and, when we did, we didn’t do much with it,” said Manning, who finished with 27-for-41 completed passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns.

He added: “A Thursday night game, second division game, you’re never sure what you’re going to get.

“But it’s been that way all season for us. Teams play us different than they play other teams.”

The defeat sees Denver losing its 10-game winning streak against the AFC West opponents ended.
