Manager Jürgen Klopp has recalled his big guns for this fixture with the Reds looking to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat against Manchester United the last time out in the English Premier League.

Notably, though, Klopp only made one change from the team that played against Manchester United.

Winger Adam Lallana, who started the build up to this game doubtful for Liverpool with a minor muscle problem, passed a fitness test, but is only on the bench today.

He is replaced in the starting lineup by Jordon Ibe, who will join James Milner out wide, while Roberto Firmino remains the starting man up front ahead of Christian Benteke, despite the Belgian being involved in two of the midweek goals against Exeter City in the FA Cup 3-0 third round replay win.

Emre Can, Lucas and Jordan Henderson all start again in midfield, with the likes of Steven Caulker, Joe Allen, Jon Flanagan and Joao Carlos Teixeira all on the bench.

Meanwhile, Norwich City make four changes to the side which was well beaten at Bournemouth, but midfielder Gary O’Neil remains out as he continues to serve a three-match suspension after his red card at Stoke City.

On-loan Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is also out as he’s ineligible to feature against his parent club.

New signings attacking player Steven Naismith and full-back Ivo Pinto will both make their debuts for their new club.

Pinto will join Russell Martin, Sebastien Bassong and Robbie Brady in the back four, while Smith will play alongside the likes of Jonny Howson, Nathan Redmond in support of Dieumerci Mbokani.

Wes Hoolahan and Graham Dorrans will play central.

Swiss defender Timm Klose, who joined the Canaries from German side Wolfsburg earlier this week, is on the bench and could make his debut at some point during the game.

The previous meeting between these two sides at Anfield on September 20, ended 1-1.
