LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Arsene Wenger doesn’t Mesut Ozil to miss Arsenal’s Premier League game against Norwich City, but says he will check on the midfield playmaker before the start of the game Saturday.

Ozil picked up a knock while he was on national duties with Germany and was seen as doubtful for the contest.

However, Arsenal manager Wenger believes his star summer signing will be ok to feature.

“He is alright,” the manager said on “He came back with a knock on the knee but it was just a kick.

“We’ll have a test tomorrow to see if he is fit enough for Saturday or not. When you have not played, there is always a little doubt but not a major one.”

Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla could make his return for the first time since September after covering from an ankle injury, while full-back Bacary Sagna has also recovered from a hamstring injury and could also play.

“Sagna is 80 per cent fit and he will have a test. Cazorla is available in training but he is not match-fit,” Wenger said.

“It is just about competitiveness with him. There is a possibility both are in the squad for Saturday. I have not decided whether they will start or not.”
