One of the highlighted battles on the day will come from Anfield where Liverpool play host to Arsenal.
Liverpool have recalled captain Jordan Henderson after he recovered from an injury to start in the midfield, but striker Christian Benteke only starts on the bench after failing to impress his manager in the FA Cup third round 2-2 tie against Exeter City the last time out.
Benteke has to hold a seat on the bench alongside new loan signing Steven Caulker.
James Milner, Adam Lallana, Jordon Ibe and Roberto Firmino all start as well for Liverpool.
Meanwhile, for Arsene, manager Arsenal Wenger makes one change to the team that featured the last time in the English Premier League, as attacker Joel Campbell, who has been in good form recently, starts in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Mathieu Flamini starts as well, so does Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.
Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny are the starting center-backs again.
Meanwhile, Leicester City and Tottenham will battle for the second time in four days, following their 2-2 draw in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Tottenham made seven adjustments from the side that started that game, with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and forwards Erik Lamela and Harry Kane among the players returning to start today’s match.
Leicester City make nine changes for this contest, with leading striker and top goalscorer Jamie Vardy returning from groin surgery, among those returning.
Star winger Riyah Mahrez also comes back after a rest.
