Radamel Falcao scores twice against Tottenham in big win

MONACO (Sporting Alert) — Radamel Falcao scored twice and Ligue 1 side AS Monaco hammered English Premier League club Tottenham 5-2 in a preseason game in Stade Louis II on Saturday.

The Columbian international netted twice in the second half, while Andrea Raggi, who opened the scoring, Lucas Ariel Ocampos and Mounir Obbadi also got on the scoresheet during the contest.

Substitutes Harry Kane and Andros Townsend were the goalscorers for Tottenham, which saw forward Jermain Defoe being forced to leave the pitch early because of a hamstring injury.

The game saw João Moutinho, Eric Abidal and Ricardo Carvalho all starting for the big spending French side, which continues to search for improvement on each performance.

Elsewhere, EPL side Arsenal game from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Napoli, while Liverpool beat Olympiakos 2-0.
