LONDON, England (SportingAlert) — The starting lineups for Arsenal and Manchester City for today’s FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.
New summer signing Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy all make their Arsenal debuts. Exciting forward Yaya Sanogo, who scored his four-goals in the recent Emirates Cup victory over Benfica, starts up front, with Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and new skipper Mikel Arteta also starting the game.
Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell starts on the bench, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud also substitutes.
For Manchester City, full-back Gael Clichy starts on the right, and starts in the back line alongside the returning Dedryck Boyata, Matija Nastasic and Aleksandar Kolarov.
Manuel Pellegrini goes with new recruit goalkeeper Willy Caballero over Joe Hart, with midfielder Fernando also making his debut for Manchester City, while Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri play in midfield.
Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko lead the attack for Manchester City.
