Starting Teams For EFL Cup: Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and More

LONDON, Sporting Alert - Roberto Firmino and Loris Karius both start for Liverpool in today's English League Cup 3rd round against Derby County at iPro Stadium on Tuesday.

Firmino has recovered from a slight groin injury that kept him out of the win over Chelsea in the Premier League last Friday and is back to bolster the Reds' attack.
Meanwhile, Marko Grujic makes his first competitive start for Liverpool and will play in the midfield alongside captain Jordan Henderson and Lucas.
Firmino will link up with Philippe Coutinho in support of Divock Origi, who will lead the attack today ahead of Danny Ings, who starts on the bench.
There are places on the bench as well for Dejan Lovren, James Milner, Sadio Mane, Simon Mignolet and Emre Can.
Andreas Weimann, Will Hughes, Richard Keogh, Marcus Olsson, Chris Baird and Darren Bent are amongst the starters today for Derby County, while Tom Ince starts on the bench.
Chelsea v Leicester City
Meanwhile, as expected, Cesc Fabregas, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Michy Batshuayi and Pedro all start for Chelsea in their EFL Cup third round battle with fellow English Premier League rivals Leicester City at The King Power Stadium.
Marcos Alonso makes his first Chelsea start tonight, while Gary Cahill
and David Luiz are the starting pair again in the heart of the defense.
The likes of Willian, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are amongst the substitutes.
Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez are amongst the subs for Leicester City, but Shinji Okazaki, Ahmed Musa, Demarai Gray and Andy King all start for the Premier League champions.
Ron-Robert Zieler starts in goal, with Wes Morgan and Danny Simpson playing in defense.
Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
Arsenal, meanwhile, handed starts to Emiliano Martinez, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Rob Holding, Chuba Akpom and Lucas Perez for their cup tie at Nottingham Forest.
Gabriel Paulista returns from injury to make his first appearance this season, while Kieran Gibbs, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jeff Reine Adelaide all start as well for the Gunners.
Manager Arsene Wenger named a very young substitute bench.
