(Sporting Alert) — Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko will lead the attacking line for Manchester City in tonight’s Barclays Asia Trophy final against Sunderland at Hong Kong Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini has decided to name go with two strikers for the game tonight after playing with just Dzeko in the win over South China.
Yaya Youre, David Silva, James Milner and Javi Garcia all start as well, in the midfield, while captain Vincent Kompany leads the back line, along side Matija Nastasić, Gael Clichy and Pablo Zabaleta.
Costel Pantilimon starts in goal with regular first choice Joe Hart not in the team altogether.
Fernandinho, Gareth Barry and Samir Nasri, who all started the first game are on the bench, alongside Jesus Nevas, Joleon Lescott and Aleksandar Kolarov.
Sunderland have named the same starting line up that beat Tottenham in midweek, with American forward Jozy Altidore and England’s Adam Johnson amongst the starters.
