(Sporting Alert) — England forward Daniel Sturridge is out of Liverpool’s English Premier League clash with Hull City at The KC Stadium on Sunday.

Sturridge came off the bench to score the equaliser for Liverpool in the 3-3 draw with Everton in the last outing, but was not fit enough to feature today, while Philippe Coutinho starts on the bench after recovering from a high ankle injury, as  manager Brendan Rodgers makes three changes from the team that started last weekend’s Merseyside derby.

Iago Aspas is also on the bench, but Victor Moses and Raheem Sterling both start, with Luis Suarez leading the attack.

Meanwhile, Hull City has named former Tottenham midfielders Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore in its starting lineup.

Robbie Brady and Yannick Sagbo lead the attacking line for Steve Bruce’s promoted team.
