Keisei Tominaga had 19 points and Rienk Mast added 18 to help Nebraska knock off No. 1 Purdue 88-72 on Tuesday night in a Big Ten Conference game in Lincoln, Neb.
It was the Cornhuskers’ first win over a top-ranked team since 1982, when they won at old Big 8 foe Missouri. They did it Tuesday by hitting a season-high 14 3-pointers on just 23 attempts, making seven in each half.
Tominaga went 5 of 9 on 3-pointers while Mast, who was matched up against reigning national player of the year Zach Edey, made two 3s and was 8 of 17 from the field. CJ Wilcher added 16 points, Juwan Gary scored 12 and Brice Williams had nine points, 11 rebounds and nine assists for Nebraska (13-3, 3-2 Big Ten).
Purdue (14-2, 3-2) fell to 1-2 in true road games as it found itself taking more 3-pointers than 2-pointers for the first time all season. The Boilermakers were 13 of 33 from outside, with Mason Gillis hitting five as part of a season-high 16 points, but they made just 11 of 24 shots from inside the arc.

Milan Momcilovic hit a late tiebreaking jumper and two key free throws as the Cyclones topped the previously unbeaten Cougars in a Big 12 slugfest in Ames, Iowa.
Houston (14-1, 1-1 Big 12) — which was the last unbeaten Division I team in the country — shrugged off its most ragged start of the season and tied the score at 41-41 with 10:48 to play. Jamal Shead’s jumper with 3:17 to play gave Houston its first lead, but it was short-lived.
Tamin Lipsey led Iowa State (12-3, 1-1 Big 12) with 14 points while Momcilovic finished with 11.
No. 6 Kentucky 90, Missouri 77
Rob Dillingham scored 23 points and Tre Mitchell had 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Wildcats pulled away from the Tigers in Lexington, Ky.
D.J. Wagner scored 16 points and Antonio Reeves added 14 for Kentucky (12-2, 2-0 Southeastern Conference), which improved to 9-0 all-time against Missouri at home and 15-3 against Missouri overall.
Noah Carter scored 20 points, Sean East II had 19 and Tamar Bates added 18 for the Tigers (8-7, 0-2).

Kyle Filipowski poured in a game-high 26 points as the Blue Devils cruised past the host Panthers.
Filipowski canned 11 of 12 shots and also brought down 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils (12-3, 3-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), who built a 25-point lead by halftime and never looked back. Jared McCain supplied 12 points and five boards for Duke, which also got nine points and four assists from Jeremy Roach.
Zack Austin paced the Panthers (10-6, 1-4) with 11 points. Carlton Carrington chipped in 10 points, while Blake Hinson and Jaland Lowe finished with nine apiece.

Jalen Bridges tallied 25 points and five rebounds to lead the Bears over the Cougars in Waco, Texas.
Ja’Kobe Walter finished with 16 points, Langston Love chipped in 15 and Jayden Nunn added 11 for the Bears. Baylor (13-2, 2-0 Big 12) forced 14 turnovers and scored 18 points off those takeaways.
Spencer Johnson and Trevin Knell led BYU with 15 points apiece. Dallin Hall added 13 points and Jaxson Robinson chipped in 10 for the Cougars (12-3, 0-2), who lost despite shooting 49.1 and outscoring the Bears 34-22 in the paint.

Behind 22 points from Jaylin Williams and 14 points off the bench from K.D. Johnson, the Tigers held on for a hard-fought home win over the Aggies.
Johni Broome was held scoreless in the opening half but finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots for the Tigers (13-2, 2-0 SEC).
Henry Coleman III scored a team-high 17 points for Texas A&M, while Radford added 14 points. Wade Taylor IV and Hefner tallied eight points apiece. Andersson Garcia (six points, 13 rebounds) played well off the bench for the Aggies (9-6, 0-2).
Boise State 65, No. 17 Colorado State 58
O’Mar Stanley compiled 17 points and 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the season in the host Broncos’ upset victory over the Rams.
The Broncos (11-4, 2-0 Mountain West) own the nation’s longest active home winning streak with 22 consecutive victories at ExtraMile Arena. Tyson Degenhart and Chibuzo Agbo each had 13 points and Max Rice and Andrew Meadow each finished with 11 for Boise State.
The Rams (13-3, 1-2) lost both games of their road swing to Utah State and Boise State. Colorado State was led by Isaiah Stevens’ 15 points and Nique Clifford’s 12 points and eight rebounds.

Jaedon LeDee tallied 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Aztecs to a win against the host Spartans in a Mountain West Conference game.
Lamont Butler scored 11 of his 16 points in the first half, Micah Parrish scored 13 points and Jay Pal contributed 10 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Aztecs (14-2, 3-0 MWC), who won their seventh in a row.
Alvaro Cardenas scored 21 points, Myron Amey Jr. scored 20 and Tibet Gorener finished with 15 for San Jose State (7-9, 0-3), which lost its 31st straight game against a ranked opponent.

Great Osobor scored a game-high 20 points, Darius Brown II collected a double-double and the Aggies opened the second half with 11 straight points in a Mountain West Conference win over the visiting Cowboys.
Brown added 13 points and 11 assists for the Aggies (15-1, 3-0), who won their 14th straight game since a Nov. 11 overtime loss at Bradley. Isaac Johnson chipped in 10 points as Utah State hit 52.5 percent from the field, including 20 of 33 in the second half.
Mason Walters scored 17 points and Akuel Kot added 14 for the Cowboys (8-8, 1-2), but it wasn’t enough. Wyoming made only 40 percent of its field-goal tries and had 16 turnovers, which the Aggies cashed in for 17 points.

Ryan Kalkbrenner and Baylor Scheierman each scored 20 points as the Bluejays beat the Blue Demons in Chicago.
Trey Alexander scored 17 points, Kalkbrenner had nine rebounds and Scheierman grabbed eight as Creighton (12-4, 3-2) won its third consecutive game in Big East play after an 0-2 start. The Bluejays earned their 19th consecutive victory over the Blue Demons.
Da’Sean Nelson and Jaden Henley each scored 12 points for DePaul (3-12, 0-4), which lost its 16th consecutive game in regular-season conference play going back to last season.

Max Abmas drained a pull-up jumper with 6.2 seconds remaining to help the Longhorns get by the Bearcats in a Big 12 thriller.
Dylan Disu scored a career-high 33 points while Abmas added 15 for Texas (12-3, 1-1 Big 12), which rebounded from a home loss to Texas Tech on Saturday.
Trailing 70-67, the Bearcats (12-3, 1-1) rallied behind baskets from Jamille Reynolds and Simas Lukosius to take a 71-70 lead. Lukosius then drained a turnaround jumper as the shot clock was expiring to put Cincinnati up 73-70 with 59 seconds left. The Bearcats led 73-72 when Cincinnati’s John Newman III missed the front end of a one-and-one situation with 23 seconds remaining. Abmas was able to get downcourt and get off the game-winning shot.
