RIO DE JANEIRO, Sporting Alert – The starting line-ups for Mexico and Germany for today’s Rio Olympic Games 2016 men’s soccer Group C match at Arena Fonte Nova.

Both these countries have strong ambitions of winning the gold medal at this year’s Games and will be seeking a positive start to the group stage in Salvador.

Mexico, the defending champion from London 2012, is always blessed with young talents and we can brace ourselves to see some of the country’s mounting superstars on show at these Games in Rio.

One of the players to look out for is winger Hirving Lozano, who has been linked with Manchester United for a reason.

Lozano will play in El Tri attack along with Oribe Peralta and Marco Bueno, while Rodolfo Pizarro, Michael Perez Ortiz and Erick Gutiérrez are expected to play some part in the build-up in the final third.

Alfredo Talavera starts in goal, with Carlos Salcedo, César Montes, Jorge Torres and José Abella in the back.

Meanwhile, for Germany, Lars Bender and Sven Bender will be the ones expecting to dictate the game’s tempo, while Matthias Ginter and Niklas Süle will lead things from the back.

Davie Selke will lead the attack, while Maximilian Meyer and Julian Brandt also start.
