Kane, who came off the bench in the win over Watford last weekend, makes his first start in almost five weeks.
The England forward is back to lead the attack as Tottenham seek their seventh successive English Premier League win.
Right-back Kyle Walker returns to the starting XI as well to take the place of Kieran Trippier
Meanwhile, Victor Wanyama has been named to the bench after missing two matches with a back complaint.
Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Heung-Min Son, Mousa Dembélé and Eric Dier all start as well, with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen pairing up in the heart of the backline.
On loan midfielder Jack Wilshere is among the starters for Bournemouth, but fellow midfielder Dan Gosling misses out after suffering a setback in his recovery from a knee problem.
Junior Stanislas comes back into the side in midfield and he replaces Ryan Fraser, who drops to the bench.
Joshua King leads the attack, while Benik Afobe, Marc Pugh, Harry Arter, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Charlie Daniels and Junior Stanislas all start as well.
A win for Tottenham today would put them on 71 points and four behind leaders Chelsea before they kickoff on Sunday against Manchester United.
Bournemouth, in the meantime, are coming off a 3-1 defeat against Chelsea last week and sit 15th in the English Premier League standings.
They have not won in the last three games (2D, 1L).
