WatchESPN: Manchester United v Valencia Friendly Channels

louis van gaal to be sacked or quit manchester united?

MANCHESTER, England (SportingAlert) — Manchester United will face Valencia in their final preseason game before the start of the English Premier League campaign.

TV Channels: ESPN 2 Caribbean, MUTV, ESPN Deportes, WatchESPN, GOL T, Gol Stadium

The game will be played at Old Trafford, where manager Louis van Gaal will take charge of the team for the first time at home, while new recruits Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera are both set to make their Manchester United home debuts.

However, Van Gaal ruled out World Cup trio Adnan Januzaj, Marouane Fellaini and Robin van Persie featuring in Tuesday night’s friendly.

“The players have to be fit and the first thing you can do is be fit,” he explained to MUTV. “I don’t think they are fit after one week of training sessions. Surely not, when you compare it with players I have already trained.

“It is more difficult as they are not as the same level as the players we have trained already and have already played 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes,” the Dutchman said on www.manutd.com.

“So that is difficult. They came later, like Januzaj, Fellaini and Van Persie so it is difficult to start at the same level. So we have to adjust and that is difficult.”

Manchester United are having a very impressive preseason campaign thus far where Van Gaal’s side remains undefeated. He, however, noted that Valencia also come into the contest on good form as well.

“They have also won a tournament in Emirates Stadium,” he added. “They are very good. I think, otherwise, they would not beat those competitors.

“It’s very difficult for us but it’s better to play against good opponents rather than weak opponents and we win, for example, 7-0.”
