NFL SCORES IN WEEK 13

TEXAS, Sporting Alert – NFL scores and results from the list of games that took place in Week 13 on Sunday, December 6. The Panthers stayed undefeated, Cowboys grab a win, but the Patriots drop another game.

EAGLES 35, PATRIOTS 28

Sam Bradford passed for 120 yards and two touchdowns and Malcolm Jenkins and Darren Sproles ran for long scores, and the Philadelphia Eagles scored a shocking 35-28 win over defending NFL champions New England Patriots on Sunday.

The Patriots went up 14-0 in the first quarter when Tom Brady passed to James White and Danny Amendola for TDs, but Philadelphia scored 35 unanswered points to take charge.

Down by two scores, the Eagles answered back with their own pair of touchdowns to level the scores heading into the break before taking over the contest on the road after the interval.

Jenkins returned an interception 99 yards midway through the third quarter and Sproles returned a punt 83 yards to blow the game wide open for the Eagles (5-7) after both teams went into the halftime break locked at 14-14.

Philadelphia held the Patriots (10-2) scoreless in the third quarter before scoring the first point in the fourth quarter to extend the lead.

Tom Brady and New England tried to rally, but fell short in the end and the Packers dropped its second game in a row, following last week’s defeat to the Denver Broncos.

Brady went 29-of-56 on completed passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns, but threw two costly interceptions in the defeat.

James White took 10 catches for 115 yards and a touchdown for New England.

CARDINALS 27, RAMS 3

Carson Palmer completed 26-for-40 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns and the Arizona Cardinals defeated the St. Louis Rams 27-3 on Sunday.

David Johnson rushed for 99 yards on 22 carries and took a catch for a touchdown, while fellow replacement running back Kerwynn Williams also ran for a score for the Cardinals (10-2) who won its sixth game in a row.

John Brown took six catches for 113 yards and Michael Floyd caught the ball seven times for 104 yards for Arizona, which last suffered a defeat on in Week 6 on Oct 18 at Pittsburgh, 25-13.

Nick Foles threw for 146 yards for the Rams (4-8), who were held to 66 yards rushing en route to losing its fifth in a row.

The Cardinal finished with 524 total yards, including 349 yards passing.

BUCCANEERS 23, FALCONS 19

Jameis Winston found Mike Evans from 6-yards for a touchdown with 1:39 left and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured a 23-19 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in an NFL game on Sunday.

Winston, who went 18-of-27 on completed passes for 227 yards, also rushed for a score from 5-yards, which broke the deadlock late in the first quarter.

Doug Martin carried the ball 25 times for 95 yards and a score and Vincent Jackson took three catches for 87 yards for the Buccaneers (6-6) who won three of its last four and went back to .500 again this season.

Matt Ryan threw for 269 yards and a touchdown with one interception for the Atlanta Falcons (6-6) who fell to .500 on the season with the loss.

Julio Jones took eight catches for 93 yards in the defeat for Atlanta, which dropped its fifth in a row after opening the season 5-0.

This Week 13 defeat sees the Falcons slipped further down the pack in the NFC South and could very well be out of the playoff picture.
