Week 2 College Football 2017 Schedule, Live TV Channels, Stream

AP Top 25 College Football Rankings

MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert — The following is the college football 2017 schedule for Week 2 on Saturday, September 9, along with the live TV channels and streams.

Live streaming coverage of today’s list of game will be on ESPN3, ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN2, WatchESPN, Fox, CBSSN, SECN, Fox Sports Network, NBC, ABC, Pac-12 Network and Big Ten Network.

Heading the list of games this weekend is the Top 5 clash between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 5 Oklahoma at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH.

The Buckeyes will be hosting the Sooners for the fourth time this weekend and according to ESPN Stats and Information, all four previous games have come with the teams ranked in the top 15 of the AP poll.

This fixture will also see two Heisman Trophy candidates, Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma and Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett squaring off in a marquee matchup.

Mayfield, who has been labeled as “the best quarterback in college football” passed for 329 yards and three touchdowns in one half of action for the Sooners last week in the 56-7 win over UTEP 56-7 on Saturday.

In the meantime, Barrett threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score for the Buckeyes, who pulled away to beat Indiana 49-21 on the opening week of the college football 2017 schedule.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, Ohio State has a 77 percent chance to win at home against Oklahoma.

Meanwhile, after beating then-No. 3 Florida State in Atlanta last week, No. 1 Alabama returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium for their opening game of the season in Tuscaloosa, against Fresno State.

The Crimson Tide, who were the runner-ups to Clemson in the national championships last season, have been given a 98.9 percent chance to make light weight of the Bulldogs, who also won their season opener.

Elsewhere this weekend, defending champion Clemson will host No. 13 Auburn at Memorial Stadium.

The third-ranked Tigers beat up on Kent State 56-3 last Saturday to get their campaign off and running but is expected to be tested by another group of Tigers, who topped Georgia Southern 41-7 last week.

No. 4 Penn State host Pittsburgh, No. 6 USC will entertain No. 14 Stanford, the seventh-ranked Washington welcomes Montana, whole Cincinnati is at No. 8 Michigan and No. 9 Wisconsin entertains Florida Atlantic.

In another ncaa football top 25 game of interest, No. 15 Georgia is at No. 24 Notre Dame.
