MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) – Complete results from the English Barclays Premier League matches that took place this weekend.

Week 7 fixtures saw leaders Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all securing wins.

On Sunday, goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa carried Chelsea to a 2-0 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in a contest that saw manager Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger involved in a touchline push-around.

Earlier on the same day, Manchester United picked up a massive win over Everton at Old Trafford, thanks to a string of vital saves by goalkeeper David de Gea, who also stopped a penalty kick seconds before the end of the first half.

Tottenham edged Southampton 1-0, while West Ham United blanked a sorry Queens Park Rangers team 2-0 at home.

In EPL results on Saturday Manchester City scored two late goals to beat Aston Villa 2-0, Hull City continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, while Liverpool battled to a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland got past Stoke City, 3-1.
