LONDON, Sporting Alert – English Premier League standings ahead of the Week 10 fixtures this coming weekend.

After Manchester City and Tottenham both failed to pick up wins in Week 9, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all took full advantage of those results.

Manchester City started the season on a canter, but Pep Guardiola’s men have slowed down recently, as heading into this weekend’s schedule, Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the Citizens at the top of the Premier League standings on 20 points.

Next up for the Gunners is a clash against relegation-threatened and basement side Sunderland on Saturday and Arsene Wenger’s men can go three points clear of both City and Reds, as they kick-off first this weekend.

Liverpool will take on Crystal Palace on the road on Saturday, while Manchester City are at West Bromwich Albion.

Following their 4-0 bashing of Manchester United last Sunday, Chelsea also moved into the top four and they are only one point behind the leaders.

Tottenham are just behind the Blue in fifth place on the same amount of points and they face champions Leicester City at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Meanwhile, completing the top 10 in the Premier League standings are Everton in sixth place with 15 points, Manchester United, seventh on 14, while Southampton are on 13pts and Watford and Bournemouth are both on 12pts.

Crystal Palace are in 11th place on 11 points, Leicester (11pts), West Brom (10), Burnley (10) and West Ham United (10) round out the top 15.

Sunderland’s struggle at the bottom continue, as David Moyes side sits 20th in the Premier League standings with just 2 points.

Swansea City are 19th with 5 points, while Hull City slipped two places last week and are now fighting for survival, as they are 18th with 7 points.
