LONDON, Sporting Alert – English Premier League top scorers ahead of the listed fixtures for Week 8 this coming weekend.
Chelsea forward Diego Costa continues heads the EPL goal scoring chart with six goals from seven appearances.
The Spain international has played 620 minutes so far this season with 18 shots total, including 13 on target, while adding two assists to his name.
Three players, including two strikers, have netted five goals so far this season.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has five goals from 17 total shots, with 13 of those being on target.
Manchester City’s frontman Sergio Aguero and West Ham United midfielder Michail Antonio are the other two players with five strikes this term heading in Week 8.
Eight players, including Liverpool’s James Milner, Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Manchester United, Alexis Sánchez of Arsenal and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling, have all scored four times in the English Premier League this term.
Son Heung-min (Tottenham), Etienne Capoue (Watford), Leroy Fer (Swansea) and Jermain Defoe (Sunderland) are also among the English Premier League top scorers with four goals at the moment.
Also on the top goal scoring list are Liverpool’s Adam Lallana, who has three goals and three assists, his teammates Philippe Coutinho, who has three goals and two assists, Sadio Mané, who has three goals and one assist and Roberto Firmino, who has three goals thus far.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, Theo Walcott of Arsenal, Christian Benteke of Crystal Palace and Cristhian Stuani of Middlesbrough, all have three goals as well.
Manchester City forward Kevin De Bruyne has two goals and four assists from his six games.
