Thompson, who has been in immaculate form in 2017, heads the list of entrance for the women’s 200m title.

The Jamaican has already posted a time of 22.19 seconds for the half-lap event this season and she is expected to go even faster with MVP teammate Shericka Jackson set to push her all the way.

Jura Levy of Jamaica and American Shalonda Soloman are also among the sprinters set to push the favourites to the finishing line.

Meanwhile, Yohan Blake will line-up in the men’s 100m and he will race against the likes of American Mike Rodgers and Jamaica’s Nesta Carter.

Also set to compete at the meet are Allyson Felix and Natasha Hastings of the U.S., their countryman LaShawn Merritt, as well as Canadian Andre De Grasse.
