PANAMA CITY, Panama (Sporting Alert) — Mexico are confident of building on their victory over Jamaica Tuesday night when they visit the Estadio Rommel Fernandez Gutierrez to take on Panama Friday night in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier.

The Mexicans sit atop of the CONCACAF Hexagonal with six points, one more than tonight’s opponents Panama and will be looking to stretch their lead in the standings.

Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez, as expected will be the danger man to Panama, but Mexico also have the likes of Giovani Dos Santos, Andrés Guardado, Gerardo Torrado and Carlos Salcido to look to for support.
