Sporting Alert – The starting lineups and live streaming of the English Premier League game between Manchester United and Sunderland at Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Manager Louis van Gaal makes one change to his Manchester United team that started at Chelsea last week, with Morgan Schneiderlin replacing Marouane Fellaini, who is not even on the bench for today’s game.
Fellaini has been impressive for the Red Devils in recent outings, so you would have to think that his omission from the matchday squad altogether has something to do with an injury.
Schneiderlin will start alongside Michael Carrick, who has been bright for United since returning from injury.
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson continues to hold his place at left-back, with the likes of Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo still out injured.
Van Gaal has named a very young bench as well, with Will Keane, Donald Love, James Weir and Andreas Pereira all members.
Memphis Depay and Ander Herrera are also substitutes and should see some playing time.
Meanwhile, Sunderland have made two changes to the team that started in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool last week, as Dame N’Doye and DeAndre Yedlin come into the starting lineup as replacements for Billy Jones and Duncan Watmore who both miss through of injury.
The Black Cats are without winger Adam Johnson, who came off the bench and scored against Liverpool at Anfield, after he was sacked by the club on Thursday after pleading guilty to sex offences.
In the meantime, Sunderland named youngster George Honeyman on the bench for today’s game with the midfielder hoping to make his senior debut.
