MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — NBA preseason scores and results from the games that took place on Tuesday night, Oct. 7.
There were victories on the night for the Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic, who scored respective overtime wins over the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat.
The Indiana Pacers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 103-90, while the Golden State Warriors had a 112-94 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.
At STAPLES Center, the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers, with shooting guard Klay Thompson leading the way with 20pts.
Thompson got good support from David Lee, who had 13 points and nine rebounds, while Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Nemanja Nedovic all scored 12 points in the win for the Warriors.
Blake Griffin with 24 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals, led the way for the Clippers. Chris Paul added 14 points, nine assists and three steals and Jamal Crawford, 14 points, also put in good numbers for the home team in the defeat.
At The Palace of Auburn Hills, Greg Monroe scored 24 points and nine boards off the bench and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 18, also in a reserve role in the Detroit Pistons’ 111-108 win over the Chicago Bulls.
Jimmy Butler and Aaron Brooks each scored 18 points to lead the Bulls, who got 17 points and seven rebounds from Taj Gibson.
