MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert — Fixtures, live streams and TV channels, as the new NFL season continues on Sunday with the first full schedule in Week 1.
The league kicked off on Thursday night with defending champion New England Patriots stunned 42-27 by the visiting Kansas City Chiefs.
Hurricane Irman has also forced the clash between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins to be postponed.
On Sunday, 12 games are listed on the schedule, including the Sunday Night Football battle between the Dallas Cowboys v the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
This game will be live on NBC and stream live on NBC Player, beginning at 8:30 pm ET.
The main highlight ahead of this game, though, is the availability of Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has been granted a preliminary injunction by U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant.
Elliott had been slapped with a six-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy in July 2016 while he was in Columbus, Ohio.
However, the court has granted the star running back a preliminary injunction, which frees him up for Week 1 and could likely play the entire season while the case proceeds.
The Giants, who beat the Cowboys twice last season, have been given a 67 percent chance to win against Dallas, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.

Meanwhile, eight games are scheduled to go off at 1:00 pm, including the game involving the Atlanta Falcons, who will be aiming to quickly put their Super Bowl disaster from last year behind them.
Atlanta is traveling to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field and this game will be live on FOX, as well as streaming on Fox Sports GO.
In other games kicking off at 1:00 pm, New York Jets will meet the Buffalo Bills on CBS, Philadelphia Eagles are at the Washington Redskins, while the Baltimore Ravens will face the Cincinnati Bengals.
In the later games with interest, the Davante Adams, Aaron Rogers and the Green Bay Packers will entertain Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in a 4:25 pm start on FOX, while Cam Newton and Carolina Panthers go to the San Francisco 49ers.
