MIAMI, FL (SportingAlert) — One of the ingredients why the NFL is the most watched sports in the United States is the NFL Power Rankings. The intense longing of the fans and the people involve is not satisfied without the NFL Power Rankings.
Let’s look at the the Preseason NFL Power Rankings. Where is your team?
1. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks have the best chance to defend their super bowl crown. With almost the same roster, the Seahawks will get better. Seahawks’ stingy defense that shatters the opponents’ offense will be the greatest asset that provides them the opportunities to win. Cornerback Richard Sherman can always be the role model for his teammates to play that kind of defense.
2. Denver Broncos
With offense and defense, the Denver Broncos will not go away. Losing 35 points in the previous Super Bowl, the Broncos motivation would be to play harder as they look to redeem themselves. Quarterback Peyton Manning and his receivers will be effective as ever to showcase that offensive juggernaut.
When it comes to consistency, the New England Patriots are on top. Though the Patriots do not have big names to make things happen, all the players understand their roles to push through the mission. Tom Brady knows that this may be his last chance to get back into the Super Bowl.
4. San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco lurks behind Seattle. It would be difficult to fathom how they could get out of their division as the No 1 team, but the 49ers have been there before. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will lead them again in the playoffs.
Don’t count out the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL Power Rankings. The Cardinals won 10 games in a tough division last season yet they didn’t enter into the playoff. The Cardinals know this time how to beat the 49ers and Seahawks.
6. Atlanta Falcons
This is a breakthrough season for quarterback Matt Ryan. The Falcons have the offensive attacks that could overpower any team that they face. Furthermore, the defense will be a lot better.
In a weak division, the Green Bay Packers will be on top. With Aaron Rodgers at the center of the offense, the Packers will be in the playoff. Moreover, once the Packers defense turns to be suffocating, then they are contenders in the NFC.
8. New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints will always be known for their high-powered offense. Drew Brees might have another record-breaking performance with his wide receivers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will rise up in the 2014 season. Three-time Super Bowl quarterback Ben Roethlisberger knows how to instigate his team back into the playoffs. Surely, the Steelers’ defense will be one of the reasons for success.
10. Indianapolis Colts
A break-out season for quarterback Andrew Luck is expected. Luck’s will have reliable receivers like Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks, who came from the Giants. A better passing offense for the Colts will enable them to top their division.
11. Baltimore Ravens
After signing one of the biggest contracts in the NFL, quarterback Joe Flacco had fallen into the pit. This is the season for Flacco to prove to the world that he is an elite quarterback. Yes, Flacco already won a Super Bowl, but he has to bring the Ravens back, at least in the playoff.
12. Dallas Cowboys
Quarterback Tony Romo understands that this is his time to shine. His maturity in the game produces wins in the regular season. The Cowboys are going to be in the playoff if Romo plays better.
13. New York Giants
As long as Eli Manning is the anchor, the New York Giants will be contenders. Probably, the Giants will go out and play better like the seasons they won two Super Bowls.
14. San Diego Chargers
San Diego Chargers won four consecutive games to end the 2013 season. There’s no doubt that they will battle against the Broncos in their division. This is the moment for Philip Rivers to lead his team to the Super Bowl.
15. Washington Redskins
16. New York Jets
17. Carolina Panthers
19. Chicago Bears
20. St Louis Rams
21. Detroit Lions
23. Houston Texans
24. Philadelphia Eagles
25. Oakland Raiders
26. Minnesota Vikings
27. Cleveland Browns
28. Buffalo Bills
29. Miami Dolphins
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
31. Tennessee Titans
32. Jacksonville Jaguars
