DALLAS, Sporting Alert – NFL scores and results from Week 4, which took place around the country on Sunday, September 25.

Three other teams joined the New England Patriots with 3-0 starts to the season, as the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens all secured wins on Sunday.

BRONCOS 29, BENGALS 17

At Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Trevor Siemian threw a career-high four touchdown passes in his first start on the road and the Broncos beat the Bengals 29-17.

Siemian went 23 of 35 on completed passes for 312 yards, with a QBR of 87.1 and a passer rating of 132.1. He also went 11 of 12 and with a pair of touchdowns in the fourth-quarter.

Siemian took over as the starting QB for the Broncos, after Peyton Manning retired at the end of a Super Bowl winning season last term, and last year’s backup Brock Osweiler decided to leave for Houston.

The 24-year-old made connections with 10 different receivers during the game.

Receiver Emmanuel Sanders caught a pair of touchdown passes and took down nine of his 13 targets for 117 yards for Denver, while Demaryius Thomas caught six of seven targets for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, tailback Jeremy Hill rushed for two touchdowns and 97 yards, while Andy Dalton went 21 of 31 on passes for 206 yards with one interception and was sacked four times for the Cincinnati Bengals (1-2), who were suffering back-to-back defeats.

COWBOYS 31, BEARS 17

In the Sunday Night Football battle in Arlington, Texas, the Dallas Cowboys used a strong first half to take care of business against the Chicago Bears in a 31-17 win that snapped an eight-game home losing streak.

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott was 19 of 24 for 248 yards and connected with Dez Bryant for his first career touchdown pass.

The former Mississippi State ball distributor also ran for a score under the watchful eyes of his college coach, as the Cowboys (2-1) picked up their second successive victory with Prescott leading the offense.

The 23-year-old quarterback is starting for the injured Tony Romo, who is slowly progressing from his back problem.

Rookie Ezekiel Elliott picked up his first 100-yard game for Dallas, as he ended the game with 140 yards on 30 carries.

Alfred Morris and Lance Dunbar each ran for a score in the win for the Cowboys.

EAGLES 34, STEELERS 3

At Lincoln Financial Field, rookie quarterback Carson Wentz continues to show that the Cleveland Browns got it all wrong when they opted to overlook him, after he delivered another marksman-like performance for the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-3 in NFL Week 3 action.

Wentz was 23 of 31 on completed passes and threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles (3-0) to remain unbeaten this season and start a new campaign with three straight wins for the first time since 2014.

Prior to that, Philadelphia started a new term with three consecutive wins in 2004 when it opened with a 7-0 record.

Darren Sproles took all six of his targets for 128 yards, including a 73-yard catch for a touchdown. Jordan Matthews also took a pass for a TD.

Rookie Wendell Smallwood and Kenjon Barner each had their first career rushing TDs for the Eagles in the win.

For Pittsburgh, veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was 24 of 44 on passes for 257 yards and an interception, while Antonio Brown had 12 catches for 140 yards in the defeat for the Steelers (2-1).
