(Sporting Alert) — It is understood that the Seattle Seahawks will be without wide receiver Percy Harvin for Monday Night Football clash with New Orleans Saints.
Harvin had been listed as doubtful for the game with a hip, but NFL.com is now reporting that he will take no part in the contest with his injury apparently getting worse.
Reports claimed that Harvin had cortisone shots on his hip to ease the pain on Saturday, but the receiver, not feeling any better, reportedly ruled himself out of the game.
The Seahawks (10-1) are on a six game winning streak coming into Monday Night’s game on the back of a 41-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings – the second time they’ve put up 40-plus points this season.
New Orleans Saints (9-2), meanwhile, beat the Atlanta Falcons 17-13 the last time out and they are on a three game winning streak.
