LONDON, Sporting Alert – Arsenal and Bournemouth have named their starting lineups for today’s Premier League battle at Vitality Stadium
NO OZIL FOR ARSENAL
Arsenal will be without midfield playmaker Mesut Ozil, who misses his second successive game due to illness.
The German international has scored twice and assisted another in his three previous English Premier League meetings against Bournemouth but will not be adding to those stats today.

Arsenal make three changes from the side that won 2-0 over Crystal Palace at the weekend with Shkodran Mustafi, Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey coming into the starting lineup.
Gabriel Paulista, Lucas Perez and Mohamed Elneny, who is off to the Africa Cup of Nations, are the players making way for the trio.
Petr Cech remains in goal with Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Granit Xhaka, Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi and Olivier Giroud also starting.

WILSHERE WILL BE MISSED
Meanwhile, Bournemouth has been forced to make one change from the last starting XI, as midfielder Jack Wilshere is ineligible to face his parent club and is replaced by Dan Gosling.
The other change to the home team sees Joshua King coming in for Andrew Surman.
Benik Afobe hasn’t received international clearance from DR Congo and therefore misses out.
Arsenal have won all three of their English Premier League matches against Bournemouth.
Overall, the Premier League giants won all four of their previous meetings with The Cherries in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and conceded just once.
Arsene Wenger’s side heads into this contest hoping to snap a two-game skid in the Premier League away from home, having lost at Manchester City and at Everton over Christmas.
Sanchez has been the go-to man on the road this season for Arsenal with the Chile international scoring nine goals and assisting on three more in nine Premier League away appearances.
